To join National Association of Securities Market Participants a securities firm should:

have a valid license of the professional securities market participant issued by Federal Financial Markets Service for at least one of the following activities:
- broker activities on the securities market;
- dealer activities on the securities market;
- securities management activities;
- depositary activities.

submit an application to become a member addressed to the Chairman of Executive Board, specified set of documents and pay an entrance fee.
Within not more than two months after submission and registration of documents they are verified in terms of completeness and authenticity, compliance with proprietary funds requirements, after what the list of candidates is published on NAUFOR website. If NAUFOR doesn't receive objections from more then a half of the membership within two weeks, the Executive Board confirms the membership during its next meeting.
All members of the Association obey Membership Rules.

According to the decision of Board of directors NAUFOR from November, 28th, 2008, at single payment of annual membership dues the discount at a rate of 15 % from the base rate is established. At single payment of membership dues for half a year the size of the discount makes 5 % from the base sum. It is possible to pay membership dues also quarterly, to 1st day of each quarter.
